UD Connect to Oracle Database: Converting Oracle dates -> SAP Format

Hi all,

I connected a Oracle DB via DB Connect to SAP BW 2004s.

The Datasource field from Oracle has following parameters:

Database Type: DATE

Length in DB: 7

Type in DDIC: DATS

Lenght in DDIC: 8

When i upload or preview data i get only following as result:

-0.UG.29-A

The only solution to get this converted is to create a view.

The question is now:

Can i use UD Connect instead for this problem, without the need of creating a view on the Oracle DB?
