It's an very old topic, but this might help other people:

We had the same problem while planning. Reason was an user-exit which had to value / determine different units of measure, but in customizing (tr. KE4MS) not all units were prepared. Could be worth a check?!

Check whether the reciving system fails to accept as the UOM is not maintained in receiving system.

Thank you all for your responses.

The process are all done in SAP. There are no other system involved.

Mr. Gauravjit,

Please elaborate on how to "check as to how the UOM is commercial defined."

Any additional information you may provide will be much appreciated. ^ - ^

Looking forward on your reply!

Check Transaction 'CUNI'.

IMG-CUNI-UOM for defining commercial and technical UOM and ISO codes generally for EDI.

Here one can define the commercial and technical display for the UOM.

Also, if one is using EDI, ISO codes should also be checked.

Thanks, that is good FYI!

As I checked, UOM of CAS is defined very consistently.

Commercial, technical UOM and ISO codes are specific for CAS only.

To add more in my dilema, there is another doc flow - the same as the one I am working on using the same material which have been processed successfully.

Checking the material change log, no relevant change has been made with regards to UOM.

Any idea what might have happened?

Juvy, Can you share the error number which you are getting as that would also help somewhat.

Also, the other process flow, is the material same on that or is there a different material?

Regards,

Gauravjit.

Thank you sir.

The error ID is 6R094. I have checked the where-used list to no avail.

As the other process flow, the material is the same.

It was processed 3 months after the erroneous one but there is no significant change in the material master.

Thank you for the prompt answer. But it was already maintained.

Despite many alternative unit of measure listed CAS to BTL included, the error persists.

Help me please.

Check as to how the UOM is commercial defined.

Is it defined as CAS only or is there a different name for that.

Gauravjit.
