Cannot build XSA application in Web IDE for HANA

I have installed and configured Web IDE for HANA on HANA 2.0 SPS 01, and I am now trying to get started with the tutorial "simple Tiny-World application".

But I am getting into problems at the "build" part:

Build of tinydb failed. Failed access: https://vhcalhdbdb.dummy.nodomain:51024/internal/builder/status/hdi-builder/2, method: GET, response code: 500, message: {}

I have the di-builder running in the right development space, PROD:

When I press the URL button I get redirected to the same URL that the error said it could not access. On that URL I get promped with login credentials which I do not have, so I think maybe that I cannot get in without login in might be the reason why I cannot reach from Web IDE when I try to build either... I have tried the Logs button in the picture above as well, but the log did not seem to give any relevant information.

I have followed the SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA - Installation and Upgrade Guide

Amongst other things this guide says that the user has to have the SpaceDeveloper role: Assigned per space in XS Advanced. Enables users to access the shared resources of the space, and to deploy, build, and run applications.

I have done that:

Only thing I have skipped in this guide is:

Managing SSL Certificates

The SAP Web IDE SSL Certificate Management tool enables administrators to manage SSL certificates for remote Git repositories that issue SSL certificates that are not trusted publicly.

But assume this is not critical for what I try to do here.

What can I have missed? And where can I find the relevant logs?

Hi all.

I am getting access forbidden on the di-space-enablement-ui page even with user xsa_admin. Any advice?

Thanks Jonathan.

Hi,

In the URL for di-space-enablement-ui, log in as XSA_ADMIN and your HANA master database password in an incognito tab. This should take you to the Space Enablement tool from where you can enable the space:

You should be able to build your project after this.

Hope this helps.

Hi Morten,

I'm from the webide for HANA team.

For further investigate your problem i need the di-builder and di-core logs.

If you can give me access to the system I can check this myself.

Thanks,

Tahel.

Hi Tahel,

Thank you so much for offering me help!

However, my HANA-system is down right now, for unknown reasons, and after today I will be away from office for 2 months. So I will come back to you after some time. Thank you, and have a wonderful summer!
