Hi,
I have created a sales order BOM (CS61) and routing (CA01). I have then created a planned order. When converting the planned order to production order it correctly picks up my sales order BOM, but not the routing. Standard routing is used for some reason.
The sales order routing is in status 'Released' with validity from yesterday, whereas the production order start date is in the future.
What could be the reasons why it's not picking up the sales order routing?
Hi,
Please refer to below SAP notes.
https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1944995 - Using BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE to update Component Allocation in a Sales Order BOM.
Resolution
Please consider using "Direct Input" for Routings which is able to handle both Materials BOM's and Sales Order BOM's for component allocation
Using transaction SXDB with object '0170' and activity type 'Direct Input', you can create and view a sample data file for use with Direct-Input.
There are two sample reports which can be used as templates for customer-specific reports.
RCPDIRO1 - create a sample data file for use with Direct-Input
RCPTRA02 - perform the Direct-Input
Both reports are included in transaction SXDB.
For more Information on transaction CEWB and the Engineering Workbench please refer to the documentation link EWB.
