CO-PA Derivation Rule

Hi Guys,

I have created a derivation rule for MX based on Cost Element and Company Code to populate certain characteristics when an asset is sold. It works, we want a similar derivation rule but the condition would be based on Cost Element, Company Code and Plant. THe derivation rule fails since the system doesnt know where to get the plant information during the financial posting. F-92 is the transaction we are using for Argentina, ABAON for US/CA. Is there a way with which this can be achieved, since the user wants the profitablity segment to be populated with those charateristics as defined in the derivation rule.

Hi

In the asset master data-. time dependent tab, you can assign plant, location etc.

Your derivation rule can take the plant details from there.
