Need Some Info on BI 7.0 and My SAP integration.

Hi All,

Can BI 7.0 be used with older releases of My SAP ERP?

That is will BI 7.0 be supporting ECC 5.0 also along with ECC 6.0 or My SAP ERP 2004 or 2005.

Also, does older versions of BI (BW 3.x) supports My SAP ERP 2005 and lower releases?

Please let me know your responses, which can help me resolve some issues.

From our experience

BI 3.1/3.5/7.0 can be used with R/3 4.6C and upwards (including ECC 5.0/6.0)

Obviously the ideal pairing is:

BW - R/3

3.1 - 4.7

3.5 - ECC 5

7 - ECC 6

This means that you can exploit the business content and scenarios to the best effect. For example, in ECC 6 there are analysis scenarios that assume that you have the NW2004s portal installed.

But nearly everything is possible with customisation.
