We want to upgrade from SAP BO 4.0 sp04 to sp06. What are the procedures to follow? We are unable to install sp06 directly, we got the below error(installation-error.png). If sp05 is to be installed, then should we need to install all the patches starting from sp04 or directly sp05? Please suggest any solution for this.
recheck if you are installing SP06 patch or SP06 support pack.You can install SP06 support pack direclty on SP04 but if you are installing patch on SP04 then you need to first install SP06 support pack.
No, we have downloaded support pack 06(file size >2gb) from sap portal. We have not installed any patch till now in sp04, when we started installing the sp06 software we got this error.
One more thing I have to know about is steps to be taken before installation(bo 4.0 sp04 to sp06).
