Hi
We implemented ESS and MSS and we have also implementing PCR forms that uses Adobe services. I am able to view the adobe form but when I click previous or submit button on the adobe interactive form, the Internet explorer crashes.
We are using EP 7.0, ECC 6.0 (NW2004s SR2)
and IE 6.0, SP1, Win 2000, Adobe 7.0.9
Did anyone encounter this issue & any suggestions to fix this?
Thanks for your help
Regards
-Luke
Hello Luke,
I encountered this issue in last month.
I removed ACF for 2004s thrice and reinstalled it did not work.
I have removed PDF reader 8.0 installed, installed everything starting from reader 6.0, 7.08 but still no use.
Then I removed ACF, Installed ACF for 2004 and on it I again installed (updated files without removing previous ACF) 2004S ACF then everything it started working for me.
With Regards,
Nitesh Shelar.

Hello,
I am also struggling with this problem - and the customer has already wasted many many days on this!
Over here it seems to be solved by Adobe 8 with a pre-release sapformsapi.dll but I am not even 100% sure if this will work completely as its proving difficult to get the dll.....
It also happens with different versions of Adobe reader 7.x
Also sometimes it happens immediatly, sometimes on submitting the form and sometimes on exiting out of IE.
Anyone else have this problem and manage to find the root cause????
Armando.
We have also opened an OSS note - I suggest everyone with this problem does it as we have not had good ownership of the problem by SAP/Adobe (I have just discovered that the note was opened 6 weeks ago....)
We have the problem with XP SP1 and SP2 and various service packs of IE, and various versions of Adobe. I havent tried a different browser as its not really an option in this environment.
You can try to delete the temporary files in IE related to Adobe (tools\internet options\temporary internet files settings\view files). This might stop IE from crashing instantly, but the error now appears later when you try to shutdown the PC
Anybody found a solution for this?
We're using Adobe Document Services and the Interactive pdf documents open up ok but the close button or Alt+F4 doesn't have any effect! The window stays until the machine's restarted or the session killed by End Process from the Task Manager.
We're on (frontend) XP sP2 and various machines with Adobe Reader 7.0.9 (free) and 8.1 Pro (licensed)
