VIRUS Scan profile error even though no file is uploaded

Hi all,

We have a custom Fiori application deployed in Client system. In Production, when we try to create some data in backend using CREATE_ENTITY, Gateway system is throwing 'Default VIRUS scan profile not active or found'.

My understanding is that the Virus scan profile is required only when we try to upload docs using Fiori applications. Can anybody throw some light on this.

GW automatically does a virus scan automatically (if this is switched on in the GW customizing)

Please check in the customizing-SPRO, what's the virus scan profile for your gateway. it seems that the virus scan profile is not active or found in your Virus scan interface(VSI) setting.

you could find the gateway virus scan customizing by search virus scan in SPRO, some entry like "Define Virus Scan Profiles" under gateway.

and double check the whether the profile in VSI is active.
