If anyone knows the answer to the question posted by you then you can get replies.

    Follow these while framing questions.

1 . give a suitable title to the question(should be attractive)

    2. Frame the question so that the question is easy to understand

    3. Make sure that its not too long

      4. And don't forget: Many readers of the SDN are no native English speakers.

Use proper language and check for correct spelling.

You seem to confuse this with the official support line - these forums are not "official" help so take a chance that either you did not explain yourself enough and no one answers or simply no one knows the answer or they simply choose not to respond.

We've been told that some choose not to respond to those not rewarding points, or those who are posting in an unfriendly manner and even to those who treat this like the official support forum.

    Things to keep in mind...

The bottom line is, before you post be prepared mentally that you may not be entitled to get reply.

However, this is not the case always.

Best of luck for your next post:)

    Santosh

    Hi Namrata,

Our fellow friends of forum almost replies to every question. There are only few consitions when the user didn't get reply. It occurs due to many reasons as mentioned by Chandrasekhar, Craig and Stefan but there are few others reason as well:

    1. Sometimes user post questions in different section rather than the right one. For e.g. question is related to XI and user has posted that to in BI, in these condition replies come late or sometimes not.

    2. When question is really very good and the person who viewed doesn't have a proper solution.

To come out from it please read the below link:

    hello,

with all respect, having had a look at your posts, I think it's your 'fault' that you don't get enough answers.

    1) a lot of people here might be too 'old fashioned' and/or too little english native speakers to understand ne1 as anyone; that makes your posts a little hard to read

    2) your posts often fall into uncommon domains of expertise, like CAD-SAP integration; you can probably count experts in that matter with the fingers of your hands; judging from the occurence of similar requests this also holds true for VC++ specific questions

    3) some o your questions might be to high level or inappropriate, like 'where can I find some information on MM'; this question has already been answered a zillion of times and, for that reason, not been answered another zillion times

I hope you take that into account for your upcoming posting attempts.

    rgds 'n' cul8er,

    anton

ps: there's no need to give points for this answer, since this is more of a Coffee Table advice, though nevertheless serious.
