Changing Search UI colour or heading

Hello,

we would like to use the option "search from here". If i execute this command, a search window opens and the search scope is the current folder.

We like to change the heading or the colour of this search window. I know how to create a search options set, a search component set and a search layout set and connect it to this command.

But the "search from here"-layout set should have a different colour than the other layout sets. For example: All other search layout sets have a blue bar at the top of the page (search results for ...) (Portal theme colour), but this search layout set should have a red bar.

Alternatively we could change the heading (search results for... --> search in folder ..., results:).

Does anyone know how to change the coluor/heading of a search iview?

Thanks in advance,

Sven

Hi Sven

I believe it only can be changed through the portal theme.

Let me know if you don't know where to change it in the portale theme.

But you could of course develop your own search component and hardcore the colour, but that might be a "heavy" solution for such a "light" need

Hi Martin,

thank you for your replies.

Your right, developing my own search component would be too much effort.

Changing the portal theme would not meet my requirements, because in this case all other search UIs will also be changed.

I think i have to find another solution for this problem. Maybe i can display the search scope(options) initially, so the user can see that he searches only in a subfolder.

Or perhaps you could translate the "Search from here" command to "Search from here (this folder only)" or "Search this folder only" if you want to stress that the search is performed in the current folder.

That might be a more elegant solution.
