subution problem in workflow

hi ,

if user is on leave, and he is not maintained the substitution. then wokitem go to in his inbox.

for this problem how can i solve .

i heard that workflow adminstrator can put subtitute for any user, how?

if workitem already went to user inbox, how adminstrator can forward that work item to others, is there any transaction

please give me your helpful answers.

Try this report SWI2_FREQ, using this report administrator can forward the workitme to other users.

SE11 -> create a standard maintanance dialog.

SE54 -> generate object

Yes, you are right to maintain the table is limited to the fields: enddate, substitution profile, activate.

Rob wrote RH_SUBSTITUTES_LIST... here you can do everything...

Hi Sankar,

the administrator can change the table HRUS_D2 via SM30 and can create new entries for substitution. I think this is the easiest way to maintain for admin.

Yes the other way as the colleagues wrote SWIA, but than you need to forward all workitems...

Hi Sankar,

We can use the substitution WAPIs delivered by SAP but again may be you have to design a small report with a selection screen.

To check the functionality of these WAPI's goto SE37 and try F4 with SAPWAPISUB*

Yes ,the HRUS_D2 is standard table ,you cann't maintain it directly .but ,if you want to do it ,you can create a new maintain view by Se11 .

hi,

you can use fm RH_SUBSTITUTES_LIST to change the substitute of a person.

This function module is exactly the same as the popup in normal SBWP substitution, but then you can also maintain it for another person.

You can use Transaction SWIA.

With the Notification Number , the Workflow Administrator can select the Workitem which is in the Inbox of a User and Forward it to any other user - by clicking on "Forward" available in the Toolbar.
