Hello people,
I´m new with EBP and I have some doubts about workflow. Could you help me?
1 - Do you have a link on the Internet about Workflow in EBP? I would like to read about the theorical part.
2 - We would like to implement a workflow which some users are requester and managers at the same time. So, if this user makes a request that needs to be approved by the manager, it must be "automatically" approved (because he is the manager too). Do you know if it works? We made a test here, but is returns an error:
The user could request some material. When we Check Status, it appears as "Awaiting approval" and if we press the button "Approval Preview", the message "No approval workflow found. Inform system administrator." appears.
I checked the workflow, and it has only 2 active conditions:
One < 999,99 and the other >= 999,99.
In this case it is < 999,99.
What is wrong?
Thank you very much!
Cristiana
I found the problem and the solution!
Running SWO1 and passing the SC Id, I could see a short dump.
This dump gave me same expressions to use to search in SAP Notes.
And I could find a note (725250) the solves my problem.
Thank you very much!

Hello!
Do you mean that:
- In my user (called XPTO) configuration (in Attributes), I have to have:
Requester -> it is checked at Inherited column.
Role -> SAP_EC_BBP_MANAGER
In this case this user can be Requestor and Manager, correct?
But I cannot put XPTO as SLAPPROVER, correct? So, I have to change a start condition in WS10000060 to allow this "auto-approval".... But I'm not sure about how to do this.......
any ideas?
Thank youuuuuuuuuu

Hello,
first of all requestor cannot be approver for her/himself. System always tries to find person above requestor for approval.
If you want, you can exclude manager from approval via starting conditions. If you have role for approver you can put in the staring conditions that shopping cart is always approved if requestor have approval role.
Look at WS10000060 (in SRM 4.0).
