what is the use of credit limit seasonal factor

in automatic credit control

Hi Zakeer,

The use of the above mentioned field is to allow the customer to have credit limit relaxed for the mentioned time period. You can increase or decrease the credit limit of the customer by the % given and also by activating the minus check box.

With this u can make customer avail the credit limit of your choice for the particular time period.

<b>Seasonal factor in %</b>

Specifies a percentage tolerance limit up to which a customer's credit limit may be temporarily extended or reduced.

Example

If you enter 5% in this field and select the <Minus field, a customer's usual credit limit of 10,000 USD is extended by a further 500 USD.

<b>Minus sign for % rate of extra credit limit-seasonal factor</b>

Controls whether the credit limit may be increased or reduced by the specified percentage rate.

If the indicator is selected, the credit limit is reduced by that percentage rate. If it is not selected, the credit limit is increased.

Example

If you select the indicator and enter 5% in the % field, then the credit limit of $10,000 guaranteed for the customer is reduced by $500.00.

<b>Begining of validity period for seasonal factor</b> Date by which plants have to/may confirm their required quantities.

Use

The confirmation request date is only used for request notifications or for promotion announcements with queries.

If the confirmation request date has been reached, the central plant maintains the confirmed quantities. After that the requests (for required quantities from the plants) are no longer considered.

Date by which plants have to/may confirm their required quantities.
