Hi all,

I'm looking for a solution or an idea how to run scripts. My idea is to compile different stored procedures or functions by script from file system.

So I logged on to HANA studio or hdbsql and want to execute many files.

i.e.

HDBSQL>run myfile1.sql

myfile1 successfully compiled.

HDBSQL>run myfile2.sql

myfile2 successfully compiled.

HDBSQL>run myfile3.sql

myfile3 successfully compiled.

Currently I found only the way to start the HDBClient with a parameter to execute a file, but I can't run a script after loggin in.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot

Carsten

By using \h in hdbsql you can display the available commands.

Once of them is

\i[nput] <filename> read input from file, double quotes around filename are allowed

should do the trick.
