Posting Error for ECS Account

Hi,

When using transaction VF01 i am getting an posting error.

Error:

The posting keys necessary for account determination for transaction ECS have not been set. Maintain the posting keys necessary for transaction ECS.

Kindly suggest to rectify this error.

HI Kishan,

In pricing procedure each condition type is assigned to a particular Account key.

Check account key is assigned which condition type in pricing procedure.

Go to VKOA - Account determination. check the G/L account assignemnt against the combination using account key ECS. If no assignment exists go to new entries and create the G/L account assignement.

This should solve the problem.

Check in the sales prcing procedure for the maintenance of the account key against the ECS condition type and the VKOA settings.
