Issue posting Inbound IDocs in ECC; Error “Bank US XXXXXXXXX is currently blocked by user XXXXXX".

Hi All,

We have a scenario where in we are receiving in ECC different IDocs like BANK_SAVEREPLICA, CREMAS from the PI. The interface works well for fewer IDocs but when triggered large number of IDocs, having issues when posting the Inbound IDocs in ECC, some of the IDocs are getting failed with error "" Bank US XXXXXXXXX is currently blocked by user XXXXXX". For now as a work around we have been deleting the locks in SM12 and reprocessing the failed IDocs but wondering if it happens in production it would be big pain reprocessing the IDocs.. Would really help if you could suggest any thoughts having permanent solution to this issue. We are running on ECC 7 and PO 7.4 single stack.

If I would find out that you had removed my lock from SM12 while I was manually maintaining master data then you could be sure that you had the authorization to SM12 revoked .

Are you not knowing what the locks are good for? Are you not wondering why this message shows a user ID?

You can just reprocess the failed Idocs a couple minutes later, after the user has saved his work as this is removing the lock automatically.
