Dear Team,

We are sending DG master data from one productive SAP System to other SAP system.

Suddenly we are getting following error.

details are as follows,

Although it's a warning message and also mentioned that 'data was saved', still actually data is not getting saved in target system.

Can you please advice to overcome this problem?

Thanking You,

Regards,

Amol Joshi

Dear Amol

it seems to be that in your source system you use "change numbers" on DG master level. Now you distrbute the data to target system. If teh set up of target system is done very well the data record split in target system should happen as well (as part of ALE process. IN your case it does not happen. Potentially: there is missing set up of "change numbers" in target system

Kide of warning: USE CHANGE NUMBERS ONLY ONLY ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DO.. Even for DG topics it is "not easy". For EHS core: this is on level of "panic mode" (not easy to handle topic with to many risks....

Hello Amol,

When filling the dangerous goods master, change statuses of specification data and identifiers are determined.

To do this, the system determines whether a change was made without a change number in the period before the selection date. If this is the case, the system generates a change number, executes a record split, and creates an additional data record with validity from the selection date.

Check the function module HAZMAT_AENNR_GENERATE.

This is discussed in the below post in detail: https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3238565

Hope it helps.

Hello Gaurish,

Thanks for quick revert. Actually, it not a DG filling via DGE5.

I will say, it's a process of Transfer of DG master data from one sap system to other so change statuses of specification data and identifiers will not impact, i guess.

Can you please help to overcome this problem?

Thanking You !!

Hello Amol,

Sorry for delayed response. Is your issue resolved now?

If you are distributing it to other SAP system I am assuming that you are using the IDOC Type (DANGEROUSGOOD) and in that case you would have to check the ALE settings for would need to check the BAPI BAPI_DANGEROUSGOOD_SAVEREPMUL.

http://www.se80.co.uk/sapfms/b/bapi/bapi_dangerousgood_savrepmul.htm

https://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/ff/26bf53d25ab64ce10000000a174cb4/content.htm

Best way would be to sit with your ABAP team and check the filling of the change numbers.
