Hello Experts ,
Pls advice if this a Standard SAP Behavior and should i raise it to SAP . The test case is :
1. In a work Order , there are two Operations ( SAy 10 & 20 ) having two different Work Centers ( say W1 & W2 resp)
2. Enter in CAT2 and make an entry for Operation 10 . Automatically W1 Workcenter appears in Work Center field. SAve the Transaction.
3. Enter again in CAT2 and edit the operation No in the line item entered above from 10 to 20 . It is seen that Work Center is not Updated from W1 to W2 which is expected .
4. Initital Entry of W1 remains and Operation no is updated to 20 .
Apologies for that Pete . Definitely will remember it forward .
I tried to find relevant OSS if any , but couldn't locate it . Though again , i am trying to understand whether this is intended SAP Behavior or a bug . If by chance you can look into the incident no 2459244 in knowledge base , it talks about the same . Here SAP conveys that it is intended and acceptable .
If User changes any entry , say Operation no in CAT2 , and if Workcenter and Activity type is not updated according to the new Operation , it may lead to Wrong settlement in CAT9 . I am not getting any issues anywhere doing such , but that's wrong .
Pls advice .
