Customer consignment Inventory view issue

Hi SD Gurus

Scenario: My sold-to customer is different than my shipto customer id. When I goods issue a consignment-fillup using KB order type, MB58 shows the consignment quantity under sold-to customer id. In order to do consignment-issue using KE order type, I cannot find out actual consignment qty at shipto site. If I transfer the consignment qty from sold-to to shipto, I cannot do goods issue to KE order. When I have sold-to & shipto at same address with same customer ids, I don't have any issue. Greatly appreciate any input.

MB58 cannot show inventory at shipto sites, if you have sold-to with multiple ship-to customers.

When creating the KB, specify a special stock partner type SB and make that the ship-to #. Once PGI occurs for the KB, the special stock partner (in your case, the ship-to) becomes the consignment inventory account and you can see this in MB58.

When you do a KE, you once again specify the special stock partner SB to consume inventory from the appropriate consignment inventory account (once again in your case, the ship-to #).

Hi,

MMBE T.code shows customer consignment stocks with special stock indicator " W " for the material selected. So, this should give an idea as to how much is held by the customer with regards to the consignment. The you goods issue the quantity required. It shouldnt be a problem if you have a different sold to and ship to.

MMBE wouldn't help still. Actually MB58 is a better option to see consignment inventory. But both MMBE or MB58, shows the consignment inventory under the sold-to id. I have one sold-to id with 2-3 different shipto ids where I ship consignment inventory to. How would I find out how much consignment stocks I have, at each ship-to locations for the same sold-to ??

Hi Suresh,

You are correct! Consignment process in SAP can show you stocks only at sold-to-party level. If you have multiple ship-to-party's, and want the system to show you stock per shipto, it is not possible as per standards. A work around would be to make your shiptos as independent sold-tos using xd07 or in some other way. Just try this out. It should work.
