    For those doing SD, the old way has been using SAP rebates agreements (need to understand pricing as a pre-requisite) which creates a credit on A/R.

    With 4.7 & CRM there is a new product ICM (incentive & commission management) which appears to be more jointly owned by Sales & FI. There is some reading material on sap.help
