reload data

Hi all,

I must reload 2LIS_02_SCL in purchase infocube from 30/10/2006 to today.

This data are already in infocube but are wrong and were loaded with delta method.

In this infocube there are also data from 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_HDR.

After delete wrong data, how can I reload just data from 2LIS_02_SCL?

Thanks

Gianmarco

    Bini,

Go for reverse posting of that request so that it will negate the existing values. Then load the correct delta. The data from others(ITM, HDR) will not be effected with this I believe. But is there is any sequence involved you have to think doing the same in a sequence.

    Hope this helps you.....

    Hi

Following is what is needed to be done.

    1. Selectively delete the data till date from the day which is incorrect from the cube.

    2. Delete the setup tables & Fill the setup tables for Purchasing in SAP R3 for the date range which you have & the purchase types if any.

    3. Once done, do a Full Repair Request to the Purchase InfoCube.

    4. Once then resume the normal delta which is not affected at all.

    5. This will be for all the 3, HDR, ITM & SCL.

    Hope it helps,

Let me know if you have more questions, It is a tedious process..needs some senior guidance if doing in production.

    Thanks,

    Pradip.

      Hi,

Selective deletion of data and not based on requests. Either of the options can be practised. Provided you know for sure if so and so request has data for so and so dates. If not then do a selective deletion based on CalDay / Date basis.

      Hope it is clear,

      Thanks,

      Pradip.

      Hi,

      Here is a detailed explanation.

If you delete a single request which is for SCL & if you intend to do a Full Repaid Load via the setup tables then, everything is the same way.

We have only 1 Set Up Table in SAP R3 for Purchasing. So regardless of HDR, ITM, SCL, you have to fill that setup table first and then once that is done. You can then trigger the InfoPackage under SCL Data source and load data for only SCL.

      Hope it explains you.

      Thanks,

      Pradip.

That's where you need to check and reconciliate the data in. Here you need to know for sure that whatever documents you are deleting are available in the tables in SAP R3 for Purchasing - EKPO.

So if you are deleting something erroneous from IC. Then you need to make sure that that is available to reload from SAP R3. With proper selections.

      Hope it is clearer now.

      Pradip.
