Where do I go to at SDN to try and start an ABAP collaboration project?

It's been suggested that a try to start a new ABAP collaboration project involving a generic module for recursive recomputation of certain matrices that can be viewed as "tree-tables" within the WDA perspective.

Where do I go to try and start this project officially and what do I do?

Thanks

djh

Hi David, one place to start would be to setup a google group for your project.

    http://groups.google.com/

    http://code.google.com/hosting/

Similar to what the SAPLink Guys did...........

There are a couple blogs here about how the code versioning was done.

    • Thanks Rich - I realized that I can actually do what I need to do in the test/playground forum.

BTW, I mentioned in my blog post on this problem that I might be asking you to provide some expertise in dynamic ABAP to make the module generic, as opposed to any particular "tree-table" situation.

So I hope you're interested and have the time ... if so, keep an eye out for a statt-up post in the Test/Playground forum.

I don't think we'll need versioning, because the collaboration here is more in design of the algorithm and dynamic ABAP then in the actual coding itself.

      Thanks again
