About populating/creating additional facets

Greetings,

We have SAP Hybris Marketing On Premise with hub deployment via shared HANA database with SAP CRM. We have done integration settings and we’re ready to use extraction reports to import business partners from SAP CRM.

There are some fields that we need to create additional facets based on. For example, we need to create additional facet based on a third party dentification number (which is stored on BUT0ID). Another example would be tax number which is stored on DFKKBPTAXNUM. As it’s well known, both tables are in SAP CRM system and there is no corresponding table in Hybris Marketing for them.

I know that we can create additional facets by adapting IF_CUAN_CE_IC_UPDATE_SP7~IMP_IC_SPECIAL_HANDLING method of BAdI CUAN_CE_IC_UPDATE_SP7. However how can we read these ID’s? In enhancement spot CUAN_INTERACTION_CONTACT, there are two BAdI’s besides CUAN_CE_IC_UPDATE_SP7: They are CUAN_CE_IC_EXTRACT_MAPPING and CUAN_CE_IC_EXTRACT_METADATA respectively. I doubt they serve our purpose, though.

If there’s no way other than select these ID’s directly from mentioned tables in SAP CRM, we will do so eventually as we’re on same HANA database. On the other hand, it would be great if we can read the metadata of extracted business partner data somewhere in enhancement spot CUAN_INTERACTION_CONTACT (or any other BAdI) and then create additional facets.

What do you suggest?
