Will Reports written in CR 2013 be able to be scheduled in CR 2016 Server

We have written many reports in CR 2013. We now want to schedule those reports.

CR 2013 Server is $2,500.

CR 2016 Server is $500

We are using the ODBC32 Drivers for PostgreSQL with our ERP software (Spire)

CR 2016 is not supported by our ERP software although it might work (just haven't tested it)

Can we use CR 2016 Server to schedule the reports even though they are written in CR 2013?
