BPS planning layout

Hi,

I have a cube containing product details, I need to do planning on that cube.

In my planning I need to forecast and reforecast month by month, I have two time chars(0fiscyear, 0calmonth), I need to plan on the basis of actuals of previous months and history years.

My problem is I am unable execute my planning layout, It is asking first values for fiscal year, When I gave the input of 2004 or 2005 it is not accepting the values , Why this is happening?

Please help me in this regards

Thank you

    Ram,

    There are a few possibilities:

    1. There is a lock for years 2004 and 2005.

    2. There are variable with values 2004 and 2005 and the variable is in display mode.

    3. the package does not have 2004 and 2005.

    4. There is another user opened the same layout / folder before you opened it!!

PL check and let me know.

    Thanks

You need to specify the values in the variables for which you to wish to plan or write a exit to fill te variables. Se the variables, it will work.

Or remove the variables and enter values like 2004, 2005, etc and it will work.
