Hi Giridharan

Are you compressing with zero row elimination? Do you want zero row elimination?

It's the zero row elimination which takes the most time.

If this is a reload from a standard DSO , I would turn off zero elimination for the historical request, since there should be no reversing entries to create a zero row anyway. The check for zero rows will be skipped. It's the check which takes the most time.

Otherwise, consider reloading and compressing by Fiscal Period or day to create smaller chucks to compress.

Let us know if this helps,

Hi John,

Thanks for the prompt reply

Collapse is not with zero Elimination. Its running more than two days and not getting completed for just 7 million records.

Note:we have reloaded the data from base staging dso based on fiscal year period.

Thank you.
