Not able to retrieve data when values in optional prompts are not seclected

This is happening only in PROD with one WEBI report. Report is fine in DEV. System - BO 4.2 SP3

Tried to migrate the report to PROD from DEV - doesn't work.

Recreated the whole report from scratch and was able to pull only partial data on Friday. When I ran the report on Monday it ran fine(ofcourse with partial data) for the first time, Second time it started throwing "No Data to retrieve". This is inconsistent and really weird.

Any suggestions???

Hi Amit,

I have 5 optional prompts in the report and running report with no values selected - no data to retrieve.

I did purge data/prompt values - doesn't work.

And this is happening with only one report.

Please advise.

is it happening with optional prompt only? what will happen if you make it as mandatory prompt and run?

check with purging the data/prompt values and re-run again.
