Hi everyone, I need information about Jobs and spool . I need to know How Could I use them in netweaver developer studio?

Background jobs and spool requests are really specific to the ABAP stack, NWDS is the development tool for the java stack, hence there is no use between the two.

Unless you are referring to creating a java application(web dynpro or other) which makes an RFC call to the ABAP stack to perform some function related to a background job or spool request data manipulation.

What is the requirement.

Hi Rich,

The requirement is that we are going to develop an application in a netweaver environment with te 2 stacks(ABAP+java) and its own database apart from the r/3 server with its own DB too.

So we have 2 servers, one for netweaver and one for R/3.

So in our environment we are going to develop our own BAPIs, for accessing to our own DB and other for communication with R/3 BAPIs.

And your second parragraph is exactly what we are supposed to do but have not enough information about.

Can you please help us.
