Hierarchical Context Menu

Hi Gurus,

i am using a Hierarchical Context Menu in my Web Report ( Template ).

To that Web Item i assigned a Key Figure Structure

( BexStructure of the Query i use ). The right DP is also assigned.

But by executing the Web Report, i am able to set the variable values i use in it,

and after that by executing it crashes.

Can anyone help ?

What i want is, to restrict the execution on a special line out of the structure that use vartically. Is it possible to create a variable for that kind of structure (KeyFigures) ?

What do you exactly mean by the web application crashing .. do you get any error message or the template times out ?

many thanks for your help.

What i get after execution is :

500 SAP Internal Server Error

Error message: The object name is not allowed to be empty ( type of termination: ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE )

Is there a way to specify a variable for that kind of purposes.

What i want is to call a web report whithin a BSP Application. The web report contains a query with a very huge BexStructure (KeyFigures) about 100 lines.

I there a way to restrict the selection of one element of that structure. Maybe a variable on that which i can pass by the url i build and call.

AT,

I don't think that selection of a particular KF is possible - but however you can hide the KF and specify that it can be unhidden in the query navigation..
