Problem with Elster Kommunikation

Former Member

Hello all,

we have install SAP XI on NetWeaver2004s with Elster. To check the settings we execute the following report RPUTX7D0. Elster is working in the DEV and QAS system. In our productive system elster works the last time too. But since two days Elster is not running. The report have now an error:

Testreport zum Überprüfen der RFC-Verbindungen zum Business Connector 1

Lohnsteueranmeldung

Test HR_DE_B2A_ELSTER_UNGZIP => /ELSTER/LSTB/UNGZIP

und/oder die Funktion des Business Connectors.

GZIP/UNGZIP - Fehler

I`m wondering, becouse the report in the productive system say "Kommunikation - Business Connector" but we use Elster. In the other System the report say " Kommunikation - XI".

I have check all RFC connections and note 730870.

Have somebody an idea? Is this problem in context to the landscape of the productive System (CI and DI)

THANK you!

Kind regards

Markus

Hi Chilla,

thank you for your hint, but, I checked all possible faults and the problem still exists.

The blog refers to common 404-Not found issues; i guess the prob is related to the mentioned RFC-functions HR_DE_B2A_ELSTER_GZIP and HR_DE_B2A_ELSTER_UNGZIP

Has anybody else seen or solved this problem?

Thanx in advance

Hi Folks,

I solved the problem and maybe it's of common interest: Throughout my investigations I realized that my runtime-cache could not be updated. By checking the corresponding RFC-destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI I found the faulty entry, because the configured path pointed to "/dir/Cache_Refresh" instead of "/dir/CacheRefresh". Updating the cache took about one and a half hour, what I found to be a surprising long time.

Looking back it all seems logical, but it took a while to find that out.

So long

Hi Markus,

When you check the RFC destinations, try to logon remote, to be shure that they are working. The test button is ****.

If the destinations did not work temporary have a look to SM21 where you can search for the reason.

May be you have problem at the Java Stack (adapter engine). Just restart it at TA SMICM and control if it works. If yes you might have a performance problem (to much traffic). To have more stability use ABAP proxys as wrapper (outbound proxys called by RFC, inbound proxys call RFCs).

Regards,

Udo
