Impact analysis of resetting Audit Db User password in sap bo bi 4.1

Want to know the impact analysis or negative impact of resetting Audit Db user Password. We want to reset the Audit Db user password in our sap bo bi 4.1 prod environment. If we change please let me know the places where i have to change the password apart from the odbc configuration and also in CMC.

CMC -> Auditing is where the password will need to be set.

If you have any universes that reference the audit data, then you will also need to update the connection that the universe uses.

If the password is not changed in CMC, or changed incorrectly, then the audit data will not be flushed to the database, and will pile up in the Auditing directory.

So we have to change in the following places right

1. ODBC Configuration for audit db in BO prod server

2. Change the password in auditing section in CMC

3. Chang the password in the connections in the universes built on Audit DB.

Hope the above will suffice for an interrupted audit logs.

I think that should do it. After you bring the system up, check the audit tables to see if there's new data coming in.
