Hi Pramod,
Display of dimension attributes in the Dimension Filter component is currently not supported. What is the business use case for this requirement?

Hi Mustafa,
There is a need to display attributes of characteristics which are groupings and flags related to Dimension and can help the users in choosing filtering Members of dimensions.
In other words, the key of Dimension is more of a system generated ID and doesn't really help users in identifying filtering members.
Hi Pramod,
I can understand that the key value may not be meaningful but in the example you've provided, the text description of the dimension member seems meaningful enough to allow user selection.
In any case, if you require the additional functionality of the seeing the attributes to help with filter value selection, I suggest you post this in the SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio Idea Place.
Regards,
Mustafa.
Mustafa,
Thanks for response. Infact the Key is generated by another system before loading to BW and the ID's , Flags and relevant information are stored in attributes of that dimension . So in this case the combination of ID's and Flags are needed in making a decision to choose members.
I have submitted this to Idea Place. I am not certain but i it looks like i have seen display attributes in prompt dialog or filter dialog in older versions of Design studio may be 1.2 or 1.3 . So wondered if some setting would enable it 🙂
