Error browsing Portal Content

I've installed Enterprise Portal from DVDs Netweaver 2004s SR1

When I access with Internet Explorer 6, 7 or Firefox 2 on the Portal URL

there is a panel that I dont browse the Folder Content (logged as administrator).

The level stack patch is 10 for J2ee Engine and Enterprise Portal 7.0.

Internet Explorer shows this error message :

error: object required

https://172.25.1.30:50101/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.appdesigner.framework.loadin...

The hardware and SO are :

Linux Red Hat 4 Update 3 64 bits

Maxdb 7.6 build 18

Hi Fernando,

Try using the name of the server instead of the IP address in the URL of the portal.

Say instead of https://172.25.1.30:50101/irj

use https://<host name>:<porta name>/irj

You can configure the host name with the IP address in a hosts file in your system.

This might solve your problem.

Hi Fernando,

If it is on standalone machine use http://localhost:<ServerPort>/irj.

If you are in a domain give fully qualified name of the server in place of localhost.

Just check if it works.And it is advisible to run your EP with IE 6.0.
