MRP Recommendation to wrong Warehouse

Hi Community,

I get the same results in 9.1 PL8 and 9.2 PL4.

I have a customer set with 4 different warehouses:

Warehouse A, B, C are only selling locations and stock selling products only Warehouse D is production plant.

All produced items are set in a way the all material picked and completed comes from or are returned to Warehouse D. No minimal inventory, products are Made to Orders Only.

A sales Orders is entered for a Sales from Warehouse A. lets say 1000 items.

When I run MRP Wizard I am selecting:

Parent items only.

all warehouses with the option Run By ''Warehouse''

Sources data is : Purchase orders, Sales Orders, Production orders and inventory transfers

Recommendation options are: Purchases orders+Production Orders+Inv Tranfser Requests I also select ''Generate to Default Warehouse from Item''

When I get the recommendations, the Production Order recommendation always goes with the Selling Warehouse (Whse A) instead of the Production Warehouse (whse D). Why ? Is this a normal behavior ?

I was expecting a 2 step recommendation:

1- Production Order of 1000 items to Whse D

2- Inventory Transfer request of 1000 items form Warehouse D to Warehouse A

How can I get the expected result ?
