We have an enterprise wide effort underway, by someone somewhere, to patch all instances of java to the most current version. That's every instance, every app, every server. I'm assuming some java scare. There's no time to plan out an upgrade of Crystal, so we're trying to figure out if that will work ... patching java from the original 6.0.370.6 version to 6.0.151. Has anyone done that, or is there a 'recommendation' against it ? Thanks in advance.
Hi Robert,
It should work fine, but go to help.sap.com and search for Crystal Platform and it will tell you what version of Java is supported.
Any version of 6 should be fine.
If they are pushing Java updates why not move to 7 or 8?
