Bex Message Error: check_max_memmers-01 when executing the query

Hi All,

I get the following error ""check_max_memmers-01" when executing the Bex Query. How do I find the total elements so that I can restrict it to 1000 elements which is the SAP limit.

Someone explain step by step in detail as much as possible.

Thanks,

B J

Hi,

I've faced this problem, when i tried the query in rsrt i found that cell_fuellen form in include LRRI2F25 checks whether total elements greater than 1000 or not. Then i added new formulas in the key structure instead of using the cube's calculated key figures. It works.

Hi B J,

You can find out the by using RSRT. Type in the technical name of your query and click on the Technical Information button. Scroll down to see the Statistics and here you can find Number of Elements in Structure. Please not that this may not correspond to the number of elements actually in your structure in the query designer, but this is the number of columns required (for calculation of the elements) by the OLAP engine.

Hope this helps...

Bhanu,

I tried RSRT and clicked technical Information. This took me to the ABAP debugger and when finished displayed the same error message "check_max_memmers-01" in a message box. and then to the last screen which shows that Query Is Inactive ,Techn. Definition Name and UTC Time Stamp in Short Form in a table format.

Pls. elaborate on the step as I am new to BW.

Thanks for your help.

Can you try to open up the query in the query designer and see if it opens without any errors. Did you create this query? Once it is open in the QD then can you click the Check button. If all checks are okay then click save to just save the query once more. Then try the RSRT > technical Information again.

Hope this helps...

Bhanu,

The query is build on a multiprovider that pulls multiple queries. The query was working fine and I added some more RKFs for some other query that is using the same structure. Now when I go back to this query which was not returning any queries before is throwing this error after I added the new RKF's

To answer your question when I click the check button it gives me the same error.

Any other solution to find the total elements.

Thanks,

BJ
