Error when deploying Model in SAP HANA Model Management

Hi All

I created a model in the HANA studio by combining the FinancialPeriod, GLAccountPeriodBalance and FinancialAnalysisFact. I ran it and it gives me the info I need.

I now need to consume this in an excel report so i exported them and then used the Content Package Tool to created the packaged zip file. I went to the SAP HANA Model Management in the SAP B1 client and imported the zip file. When I click on Deploy, I get Error under the status.

The error message doesn't give much info. I was trying to look for some log files with more info..Could not locate them.

Any one had this issue before, and how to resolve please 🙂

Thank you
Jerusha

I found my problem. Check the views in the database under Content -> sap -> DATABASENAME and delete any old views you might have imported in a previous version. After that the deployment works fine

Hi Thiago,

we are still facing the error even when using this updated version. Is there any log place where we can see the error description or something like that?

Changing my queries to end with "Query" has worked for me!

Also it is worth checking out this log file on the HANA Host:

/var/log/SAPBusinessOne/AnalyticsPlatform/analyticService.log

Is there any solution other than upgrade to 9.3PL10 for testing?

Tested the package import in version 10 PL02 , still given the same error message.

Hi guys, the note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2008991 used to have several versions of the content package tool, which was causing errors to those people downloading the outdated versions. Now it has only the latest version - try it again.

I found that there is a fix with SBO 9.3 PL10, but have anyone a workaround for lower Patchlevels?

We are experiencing the same problem. The log file states:
An error occurred while accessing data; %s [Message 1740000901 -6]

How do we run the model from the studio as Dick Smith suggest?

Deleting old views have not helped.

1. check your calculation view ends with xxxxQuery

2. run the model manually from studio and you will see better error messages
