Closing Cockpit

Dear All,

we are using S/4 Hana 1610 edition ,I am not able to run task through transaction ,with the task type as program is working fine .

Could you please help me how to schedule task via transaction ,it would be a great help if you provide any document with screenshots.

    I have updated the transaction as OB08 and when I release the task ,it was ask to run in foreground or background,But after that no progress .status remaning as not started.

    It is normal as the tasks can be launched from the task list only. You are at the template level.

    Logic is the following:

    1 Create the template: Maintain your Notes, Transactions, Programs and Variants structured by Module and / or Ledger for example (MM, SD, AR, AP, AA, BK, GL)

    2 From your template, generate task lists by controlling area, company code, closing type (monthly, yearly closing). Set status to release.

    3 Run your closing, calling a task list

    You can see here from the Menu > Template\Task List > A template in orange + A task list in red with the status Released
