Jco RFC Error : The JCo servers could not be started.

Hi,

I am trying to build Jco RFC from portal to ECC. I have given gateway host and gateway service of portal in 'Server Configuration Details'. I am getting the below error while Jco RC creation.

Requsting your help in resolving this issue

Many thanks for using the Q&A Forums here on SAP Communities, and I hope you are keeping well.

Based upon your scenario description and error reference highlights as we see here there are highlights pertaining to the RFC Communication Calls and the ERROR hostname 'XXXXXX' being unknown.

Have you reviewed the hostname call on your local machine and ensure that gateway ports are open (Ask basis/Network administrator)

The full log will depict the IP Details.
