hello...

i have to schedule a backgound job tonight on a central istance.

infact last night the job returned an error (TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED).

So i think it's a memory problem.

But how can i do it?

Hi

It is indeed a memory problem. An extended memory problem to be more accurate.

You can check the amount of extended memory available per user by going to:

ST02=> Detail analysis menu=>SAP memory=>quotas

You can see there the amount of SAP memory that you allow per user and per mode (batch or dialog)

If you have an AS that doesn't have the same configuration than the one where it failed, you can force the AS in which you want your job to run via SM36 or sm37, as you want.
