IC Hardware Req, Where to get it and how are calls handled

I would like to find the hardware thats required to actually have

a fully running Interaction Center. My client has all the CRM

hardware but we do not know the required hardware for the I.C

and how to integrate it with the system. Where do you get it.

Also for those who have an up and running I.C when it comes to

telephone calls, how is the trasferring of calls and holding

conference done? Does it mean that users need to have their

session open at all time incase the receive calls or they are

transfered to them, I just need a pratical view of this. Please

help.
