MDM server password

Hi All,

From where can i get the passwords for the starting the servers in MDM console.

Hi Anand ,

By default, MDM Server is not initialized with any password.

Setup password for MDM Server:

Once the MDM server is mounted and started. Right click on the server and click "Change Password". Enter the new password and confirm the password.

If there is any mistake or problem than you can also reset it by erasing the pwd of ini file in the MDM Server directory and save the file,

Hi Annika,

I have performed resetting this password thru mds.ini file, but its not working, until unless I do the same, opening the 'Change Password' and giving input values for 'Old Password', 'New password', and 'Confirm password'...

Hi,

Even i am facing the same issue as Alexander's. And without starting the server, i dont have option to change the password. So i am not sure how to handle this.

Not sure this is what you are doing but just in case:

Make sure you are blanking out the "MDS Scone=" entry in the mds.ini....not the "Password" entry for the repositories.
