Deleting .classpath file from WebDynpro DC

Hello Xperts,

While uploading other files for a WebDynpro DC, unfortunatly we have also uploaded .classpath file into DTR. Now whever we try to download the same WebDynpro DC into other systems, it throws classpath error which says ".classpath is readonly".

Anyways we can remove the readonly tag from .classpath file of the local project and check in code again into DTR and it does not bother the same client again.

But we do not wish to keep .classpath into DTR anymore.

Is there anyway we can delete .classpath file from DTR?

Regards

Ashutosh

    Hi Ashutosh,

sure, just go ahead and delete it. I would just sync the sources from DTR without creating a project for the synced DC and then use the contextmenu to delete the file from DTR.

Using a special DTR client that is not created for a specific development configuration can also be helpful.

Note that you must sync the file before you can delete it. (At least I stumbled across this in 6.40 once).

    Regards,

    Marc

    Thanks a lot Mark/Ritu,

Unfortunatly I cannot play around much with the DCs due to limited permission granted to my user id :).

Ritu, I will have to try it on my local DTR first.

    Thanks

    Ashutosh
