Attachments from Library, within an Opportunity

Hi All,

When attaching a document from the Library, while i'm in the Opportunity, it shows up as a shortcut to the document.

We are trying to see if we can add a copy of the document to the Opportunity.

The business use is, using the Library as a place for document templates. Then when a user is in an Opportunity, they can attach a copy of that document to the opportunity, edit it and save it as their own version within the opportunity.

Is this possible? Or is the Library the only place where a document can be edited/versioned?

This feature is actually what our new library does in C4C

A new library is available for you to organize documents using folders. Documents in the existing library can be easily migrated with one click. In the new library, you can set authorizations for folders and documents and share deep links when referring content.

This is actually not viable to use in Opportunity as it is not exposed yet in the solution and hence Library gives you an edge over this requirement.
