Please see below. We have attempted reinstalling BPC multiple times, which now also resets their connection files so we have to correct those as well. We cannot get prebuilt reports to work on these machines, they can run adhoc reports but not ones already built. I believe it might be due to the following. These are new computers, they came with 2016 but our It has been downgrading to 2013. I believe this may be orphan keys in the registry. If that is the case, is there an article/link that is out there so I know which ones to go after? Our Desktop support keeps blaming this on BPC but I think it's a registry key issue. So I need to prove it's not to get it fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please see below error
Error in GetMembersFilteredByProperties
Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{000208D5-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}' failed due to the following error: Library not registered. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002801D (TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED))
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Vadim,
I appreciate all of your help. I've done the Connections copy. It doesn't do anything. It's the file/s in Users/AppData/Local/EPMOfficeClient
It doens't fix anything. They are connected to BPC, they can connect but the report lacks connections. If you have a link to another quesiton that answers this I'm more than happy to go there to solve this.
Thank you

First I don't understand what you have done... no screenshots, no clear explanation..
Second - try to search
Vadim report connection
4th result
https://answers.sap.com/questions/147825/existing-bpc-reports-not-pulling-data-after-migrat.html
If connections are lost you have to recreate connections or copy file with connection info to this pc (search forum for file location).
For specific report you can also change connections - search forum.
I have already answered this questions number of times.

Vadim.
We are on BPC Version 10.0 SP 26 Patch 2 .NET 3.5. Connections are blank on the specific machines when the report is pulled. It is not user specific it is machine specific. So when I logon to their machine I have the same issue.
These reports work on other machines, they just do not work on these specific users.
How do you get Connections back if they don't show up in a report? It's weird because all the formulas are reporting back correctly and if check the properties on specific EPM formulas they show the connection to FINANCE, but the report itself shows no connections.
Appreciate your help.

Sorry, but all details (versions) please!
Also, if the user is able to create and run new report then you have to check connections on the old one...
