Hello,

I have a requirement to display a tree table using oData annotations. We have a Odata service, Which is created from BEx Query.

If i bind the Tree table with OData annotations then it is by default adding the $filter with root node ( sap:hierarchy-node-for annotation) but the BEx Query is not supporting the filter.

And i have a requirement to add the filters with navigation properties while binding the data to tree table.

Below is the sample url :

ServiceName/entity(parm1='XX',parm2='xx')/Results

Can you please guide me. Any suggestions are welcome.

Best Regards,

Bhaskar.

Hello Everyone,

To provide more inputs on this questions,

1. the properties in the generated OData service are not marked for filterable (coming directly from BEx query and can not be redefined in SEGW)

2. so once we are binding the table by the above mentioned way, it is automatically appending $filter=SomeProperty eq '' in the service call. Since these properties are not filterable, it is giving dump at the server side.

Please help in resolving this issue.

Regards,

Ekansh
