Hi, something happens with the latest version of CR for VS because on printing the letters appears swapped, and some of them are changed for "t" letter plus the parenthesis appears to much near of the nearest character of the phrase. It's a mess. I'm exporting my report to PDF and what i'm commenting appears on the PDF result file.

It's like if CR invents letters a put them everywhere as you can see on the capture:

Discover SP 21 had this issue, SP 22 should be correct now.

Hi Antonio,

What SP are you using?

SP 20 is available form here:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/Crystal+Reports%2C+Developer+for+Visual+Studio+Downloads

If that is the one you are using can you send me the report with Saved Data so I can test it?

Thanks

Don

Hello Don, Sorry did not post this correctly - added an "answer" below but was intended as a reply to your comment.

Thanks,

Hello Don,

I am having the same problem - using SP21 and VS2017. This same problem existed for the previous version as well. In my case, the character "i" is being inserted after each "t" in the PDF export - the Web Viewer control presents the data correctly. This happens for both static label fields as well as dynamic text fields. Strangely, it is not happening for Bold fields (the blue text in the image) but only regular weight fields. It's also happening only for small "t", not capital "T". I'm using Calibri font, which is on my computer. I've uploaded an image of the report (which is correct) as well as the PDF output (generated from the design environment). Would be great if this can be solved - ASAP.cr-viewer-output-correct.pngcr-pdf-output-extra-chars.png

Thanks,

Rick
