WDJ: Switch Rendering Mode like in WDA

Hello everybody,

I'm asking this question after investigating in SAP Notes and KBAs.

As to read in SAP Note 1753544, SAP has delivered a functionality with NetWeaver 7.40 SP08 for Determining the rendering mode in the Web Dynpro ABAP Framework for Internet Explorer:

"In the client, check whether the chosen mode QUIRKS or STANDARDS is compatible with the current rendering mode of Internet Explorer. If not, the application is restarted in the correct mode (new function as of SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SP08)"

My question is, if there is a corresponding feature for Web Dynpro Java? Until NW 7.40 SP12 it seems not to be the case...
