Can any one please let me know what Lead and oppourtunnity in CRM is ?

    Hi Lead can be created by effect of campaign or interaction center inbound/outbound call.

    It basically to inform the organization the customer is interested for particular product and request the sales employee to meet the customer.

    the oppourtunity created with or without reference to Lead.This happen once the sales employee goes and meet to the customer and understand what product customer exactely looking for.what is

    Lead is a marketing activity.

    Oppourtunity is a sales activity.

    Lead can be qualified with questioaire and Hot lead automatically create the oppourtunity to sales employee.
